All dogs six months or older kept within the Town of Natick must be licensed.
Licenses must be renewed annually; failure to do so may result in a $50.00 late fee for each unlicensed dog, per Article 50, §16 of the Town of Natick Charter and Bylaws and MGL Ch. 140, §141.
Licenses are valid January 1 thru December 31 of each year.
The deadline for purchasing licenses without penalty is March 1.
No license is issued for a dog not having a current rabies vaccination.
The Town Clerk must have a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate on file before issuing a license.
The license fee is waived for residents 70 years of age or older (one dog per household) and for service dogs. Licenses with waived fees cannot be renewed through this website. To have the fee waived, you may apply by mail provided proof is included or in-person at the Town Clerk's office.
Altered (spayed / neutered) dogs are eligible for a reduced rate on the license fee.
Purchased licenses are non-refundable.
Licenses are not transferable from one dog to another.
Tags must be worn by dogs at all times (MGL Ch. 140, §13).

Licenses are sent through the postal mail. A $1.00 fee is added to the order for postage. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing and delivery.
