Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, we strongly recommend you purchase your 2021 dog licenses online or by mail. If you need an application mailed to you, call the auditor's office. Currently the auditor's office is closed to the public. The auditor's office will be providing a drop box in the hallway for your convenience. Most of our normal satellite offices will not be selling dog licenses due to concerns over social distancing requirements by the state and the safety of their staff and customers.
Discount Drug Mart in Lisbon and Hanoverton Hardware in Hanoverton will be selling licenses. If buying in person, please bring your pre-printed applications with you. If no application is presented, identification with name and current address will be required.
All dogs more than three months of age must be licensed.
The standard licensing period runs December 1 to January 31.
License applications after January 31 are subject to a late penalty.
Licenses may not be transferred from one dog to another.
Licenses purchased are non-refundable.
A dog may be licensed for a term of one year, three years, or permanently.
